“5 Things We Can Not Get A Preventative Vaccination For Fraud Scams Being Hacked By Hackers That Leads To Identity Theft”

Expect the unexpected, but the appalling reality is, that the world we live in today there are “Five Things We Can Not Get A Preventative Vaccination For Fraud Scams Being Hacked By Hackers That Leads To Identity Theft.”  Everyday we either read about, hear about it, or in many cases, have it happen to us.  Social Media, and the National News are inundated with the latest, security breach or “hack” attack on some large corporation, bank, branches of the Federal Government and on and on it goes.  Now “Clouds” are being hacked with information falling like rain from the sky.  There is a little satire in that last statement, some one can “hack” a cloud for sensitive and personal private content.  But I’ll be danged if we can’t “seed” a cloud  to make it rain and become a drought buster, that just about covers the subject on clouds for me.

I created the feature image at the top of the page, and the reason you see my hand with a glove on, hovering over my key board in a creepy menacing way, is to make the following point.   Back in the day when someone burglarized our home, car, office or store, they wore gloves so no fingerprints were left to be found.  In today’s technological world, “hackers” are nothing more than thieves and burglars, but instead of stealing our money or jewels  they steal our information, and most times, that information turns into “identity theft.”  We thought we had a “Preventative Vaccination” for that type attack, it was and still is a home security system, we know now how easily these type systems can and are disabled.  The same applies to the security systems we have installed, on our computers, smart phones, credit card data bases, and I would be remiss, the latest information storage applications, the infamous “cloud.”  Even though these “hackers” don’t really wear gloves while the perform the “theft” of our information, in many if not all cases they do leave  finger prints behind,  these prints are the digital kind,

Hacked:

What the does that word really mean?  Before the advent of the web when something got “hacked” it was usually associated with something like this. To cut or chop with repeated and irregular blows: “hacked” down the saplings.

Today the definition of the word has been updated,  to accurately describe what “hackers”
do.  Imagine that, while the definition of “Preventative Vaccination” has had the same
meaning since it hit Mr. Websters Dictionary.  What else has changed besides about the “5Things We Can Not Get A Preventative For?”2014-09-04 12-27-01.478What has changed, is the technology behind the “theft” of data, or if you prefer information. There was a time when a list such as this were used in perpetrating, “fraud, scams, and identity thefts.”  That’s when things were simple, information in bits and pieces.  When did it become complicated to protect ourselves from “5Things We Can Not Get A Preventative Vaccination For Fraud Scams Being Hacked By Hackers That Leads To Identity Theft.”  The answer is as simple as this, for me, you choose for yourself.  Did any of us go shopping today,or did we visit our Doctors Office, use your credit or debt card?  Enough questions, let’s just cut to the chase.  How many times this week were we all asked for our e mail address?  Seems harmless enough right?  Where is that information stored, on a data base of course, is that data secure, that’s the question and that’s the problem, don’t take my word for it, I think we all know the name Ed Snowden.IMG-20140903-03732(1)
The advanced list, is further advanced than the “thumb drive” in the photograph, but in reality there is a world of information that can be stored on this small, portable, concealable device.  There are volumes yet to be written on this subject, and I am going to give you an authoritative link to an actual real deal story, concerning “identity theft.  It is from a local CBS affiliate, and the trials and tribulations one News Anchor went through when their “identity” was stolen.  The “fraud” specialist in the article, is my own sister, that’s her job  that’s what she does, she educates and investigates “5 Things We Can Not Get A Preventative Vaccination For Fraud Scams Being Hacked By Hackers That Leads To Identity Theft.”
